What graphics card to add to this build? 80 quid mark

Hi i am after a graphics card for around 80 quid which will match the following system im about to order for building,



id rather get from ebuyer as thats where ive sourced all the other gear but dont really matter. if the components all can be sourced elsewhere cheaper please let me know

With [email protected] you can have pretty much whatever you want so it's just a case of picking whatever card is best value. At £80 It's probably the 4850 but if you can stretch to £100 then you've got the choice of the DirectX 11 5750 or the faster Radeon 4870.

4870 for definate u can pick up one for pretty cheap

Have to agree.. 4870...

No point going for 5xxx series, at that price it'll be slower than the 4870 and only add DX11.. Which is kinda pointless on a system like that.

i swear u can get 4870 for £80 somewhere (or at least, sometime ago)

cheers gunna try and get a 4870 maybe ebay the way to go at moment as i cant find a decent deal on new, if anyone knows any please tell!

I'd go for the 5750 myself. It is slower, but it may end up faster in the future when you actually need the speed. I'm not sure why you'd consider DX11 pointless on a system with a strong processor like that.

How would it "end up faster in the future"? The card isn't going to get any better...
