What the hell is AVB doing to Spurs?
With Modric on his way, the next name to be shown the door is apprarrently Van der Vaart. Not really sure what to say.................AVB seems to think everyone is a donkey.

At the back Caulker is a great prospect, but I thought Dawson would partner Kaboul and that Gallas was history.
With Jenas & Bentley leaving (ASAP hopefully) and Rose & Huddletone probably going on loan we need to buy someone. Unless AVB rates the likes of Carroll, Kane and Townsend.
Adebayor won’t be enough up front and........with AVB playing a pressing game of 4-3-2 and 1 forward, there is no way Sigurdsson can provide the goals we need from midfield.
Rebuild yes by adding quality.........but don’t destroy us and put us back to the Ramos days by bringing in a load of journeymen.
Must say and I hate to admit it, but Cazorla for Arsenal could be the bargain of the year for Wenger.

But hopefully he will have ruined spurs enough for newcastle to finish above X)

Don't forget that Spurs missed out on a Champions League position, so they won't be getting as much money pumped into the club as they were hoping (so the wage bill may need to be slashed, as well as some players being sold off to raise capital) and some players will naturally be unhappy playing for a club that couldn't get into the Champions League.
I do expect Spurs to sign a couple players before the transfer window ends, we saw how Spurs signed VDV as a gift for Redknapp, while he was oblivious to the situation at the club, so watch this space.
I just want to know how they managed to convince them to snap up AVB....don't forget, he is the self proclaimed Special One....actually....sounds like he's at the right club afterall!!! lol

well ray wilkins probably told harry redknapp he's guranteed the England job and told him to leave...leaving the vaccant position. AVB probably put himself in the job by sending a covering letter and CV to Mr Levvi X)
