please feel free to post your worst things about ebay other than the fees
i hate it if i do the work of finding items at a cheap price and the seller removes my bid because no one else bids on it so i dont even get to leave neg fb which you can do if you win the item and the seller refuses to send the item out

I honestly did not know ppl could do that!

The tight gits like!

We sold something about 2 weeks ago, sent it (by normal parcel del) and it got lost. 50 pounds worth of stuff. The buyer is demanding a refund, so i sent them the reciept of del to them, so they could claim, and buyer will not sign for it! They are stating that it is my fault it got lost and they wil never sign for the reciept of del.

But to top it the buyer writes, in their ad's, when they are selling something, "I do not take repsonsibilty for loss of my items that are posted". Hypocritcs!

It's up to the seller (sender) of the parcels to claim off Royal Mail and not the buyer so I too wouldn't sign for any thing.

what were complaining about is the sellers who remove our bids because were the only bidders and they dont want to sell the item so low and dont want to pay sellers fees for selling it

Not disputing that. The buyer wrote that in their ad. So why should their be one set of rules for one seller and a different set for another?

You are liable (as others have said). You can claim off RM but I think the limit is around £50 for recorded so I bet its less for non recorded

ITs ebays / pp's T&C you need to adhere to, not the individual seller.

For 70p or 75p extra you can send recorded - I send anything over a fiver by recorded

It's not those words mean jack if you are faced with a dispute, the same would happen to her.

True. If you can't prove delivery you lose the paypal dispute. Unfortunately there are plenty of scammers who know this and take advantage of naiive sellers who send by normal post.

Really?? They have been giving me the moral high ground, saying that she states this in the ad and that no one can argue.

I sent it to her cos of what she stated and I tought "well if thats what she does, i'll send the reciept" lol . I will be getting her told.

Thank you for tellin me this.

If you've sent her the receipt and don't get it back you've lost your goods and your money.

Why on earth didn't you send £50 worth of goods via recorded delivery?

If you do get your receipt back I think the best you will get is £39 (I think) worth of stamps

Bet that extra 70p seems like a good idea now :(
