Basically as a NAtwest customer can someone to Cash over Counter without the piece of paper the natwest telephone person thought i needed? Long shot that shes wrong but wouldnt be the first time lol

I deposit money in my natwest account without the slips they gave me when i opened my account :S

just to check that is with someone else paying me so they dont have my bank card only sortcode account number and name?

Natwest is owned by the RBS so it shouldn't be a problem at all

I have transferred money from a Natwest account to an RBS account online before and that was instant, which means to me they use the same systems. That was about 6 months ago though so things may have changed since

Agreed - RBS owns Natwest, they share support and contact centres. It's like Bank of Scotland and the Halifax, they are both parts of HBOS.

Just to let you know it is still instant deposit and if you know your account no they will make you up a slip and receipt, work there so know for a fact its ok, and yes RBS owns Nat West, Coutts, and many more!!

I am a natwest customer but can i go into a rbs branch and deposit my cheque inti my natwedt account
