What I thought of Thorpe Park.

I thought there was plenty of extreme rides, I especially loved nemesis inferno, stealth and the saw maze. You gotta see the saw maze absolutely fantastic haha. Although one big thumbs down goes for their mile long queues. I queued for 2 hours just to get into nemesis inferno. I queued for 40 minutes just to get into the ride called 'the fish. I queued 1 hour 45 minutes just to get into stealth and finally I queued 1 hour 55 minutes to get into saw maze. All in all I managed to go onto 4 rides within a 6 hour period. Remaining minutes I looked around for rides with decent waiting times, obviously I was asking too much.

Verdict: Will be going again, when school holidays are off.

Yeah think the longest we awaited even at Alton Towers was about 30mins. I would get very annoyed at waiting longer then 120mins for a ride. Even in the height of summer, when the kids were off at Port Adventura (Spain, but owned by Tussands group) the longest wait was about 1hr.

Yeah those waiting times are absurd. I guess I'll go around october when they are open 10am-10pm rather than yesterday 9:30 to 6pm.

If there's some sort of school holidays when you're going you're gonna regre it lol. You'll be waiting 2 hours to try the saw ride. Can't tell you if its good as I couldn't get on it due to the lengthy queues.

Hell yeah it is absolutely fantastic, only downside is the ride lasts for about 10 seconds lol

Am taking my son out of school (naughty I know) in the hope that it will be quieter. Seen some clips on YouTube and it looks fab

lol...like most good rides then. I took my son on the Squirrel thing at Alton Towers, lasts a lifetime and is rubbish, even for kids.

saw is the best ride there atm imo, is really good although i do agree that holidays are the worst time to go, and always stay till the end the queues die down by then.

Loving the sarcasm in this thread.
