As title really.

I'm sure many others feel the same, but I feel the need to vent!

I posted a deal again today, it's definitely the best price for the product by around £30 - yet it still is like 5 degrees, despite explaining the price is the best etc.

Why is it that some of the time your deals just head south for no reason - why do folk do it?

If I read I deal I'm not interested in, I won't generally vote on it, I don't indulge in cold voting because I have 9 degrees of 'power' to damage the effort someone has put into it, just because it doesn't interest me.

Sometimes you just feel like giving up posting them, I know I did for a few months!

Thread in question here.

Keeps cropping up in feedback, I (and many others) have asked for a dropdown tag asking why you have voted a deal cold but as usual, no luck.
If I do vote cold, I normally add why

Sure fire way of making it icecold moaning about it's temp.

It really doesn't matter does it?

well to the person posting it, it does

Why does it? you post a deal, others see it, either use it or not, is it important what temp it is.

If a deal is good for you does it put you off it is not hot?

Its important to those going to the effort of posting a deal that folk dont vote a deal cold for no specific reason Greg. It gets very discouraging when they go cold for no reason that can be explained. I know this has been discussed to death on here but I felt the need to vent this time.

theres a difference between it being the cheapest and a good deal!
this is a hot deal site - its not just about finding it the cheapest!!!!!!!!

some people seem to vote on the base of if they need it or not like if they dont need a phone they think this isnt a good deal and vote cold, rather than just not voting at all i dont often vote either way unless i think its a good deal or if i see the op has gone to alot of effort for posting :)

lol - the power of the misc.

This has now gone from 4 degree to minus 47 in a matter of minutes.

I take your point, and I don't like deals with BOGOF on tuna, as I don't like tuna, but I wouldn't vote on it either way to be honest.

exactly, people voting cold willy-nilly may not seem such a major life issue, but it puts people off posting deals again, this site can't survive on cd and dvd deals alone you know, Hi Andy:-D

Thanks.

I still take issue with Simon Pegg's Scottish accent however. :p

In fairness, I actually thought his overall performance was good, he filled the comedy roll very well.
