hi, how about the amex cash back one? you get 37 quid if you go through quidco and 5% cashback for first three months too

go through quidco if your a member, sign up for the american express, get £40 from quidco plus 5% back on all monies spent in the first 3 months than drops to 1.5% i think, make sure you pay it off every month otherwise interest charges start adding up.
you will have to keep the account open 12 months to get your 5% back.. hope it helps

You do need to bear in mind that Amex isn't as widely accepted as Visa and Mastercard - not as many retailers take Amex.

ah i didnt know that was thinking of maybe getting a mastercard one from halifax or something?

If you want one with a long 0% purchase rate than a capital one might be one to bear in mind.

I agree with this.

I once had an American Express card with my company and many many places would not take it (they charge the companies more than other cards)

Go for a Mastercard or Visa.

I have a tesco credit card which accumulates points that can be converted to deals which you can spend on things like holidays/theme parks/restaurants /days out. Get great deals for nothing. I've had family trip to Disneyland Paris, ferries to Ireland & France, Theme parks tickets for legoland/alton towers, blackpool. It's a Visa card so used everywhere, and the customer service is good. Highly recommend.

Cashback on purchases is the term you need to look for. Or some other kind of bonuses like the tesco one etc.
