one day mobiles wont be used for just making phone calls, you will be able to 'text', take pictures, watch videos, play games and perhaps even listen to music!

The (not too distant) future is simply a "mobile home office". Few people will need a separate home PC, camera, DVD/CD player, fax machine, radio or even credit card.

Phones will start to increase in size again (from the previously fashionable "smallest phone", and will become an all-encompassing gadget for social networking, word processing and entertainment. The only thing you will "need" in your home office will be a docking station with keyboard, mouse, monitor and printer - the actual work can all be done within your mobile.

ID will become more of an issue as technology overtakes security - serious measures will need to be considered to ensure that the mobile can only be used (as a payment method, data storage etc) by its owner. Mobile theft will need to become unprofitable, but will face trouble in achieving this due to clever blackmarket hackers.

The sheer mechanics of this concept are mind-boggling
