Supermarkets selling boiled eggs to customers for people who are too busy or lazy to do it themselves.

Its bringing some nice cooked eggs to busy people like me who want some quick protein and cant be bothered to set up the camping stove outside the supermarket.

Anyone who thinks these are aimed at people taking them home to save time boiling raw eggs themselves is an idiot surely.

I can buy boiled eggs at the salad bar from Morrison's what's the difference?
#6
Do you make your own bread or buy it from the supermarket? :whistling:

The list is endless, the one that always gets me is the packets of chopped carrots etc.

You can drink whilst you cook...or cook the meat in wine so you can have both pleasures together.

I'm not a fan of ready meals and believe they should bering back compulsory cooking lessons in schools from primary age.

It astounds me that so many people can't cook :? Tried to teach my niece how to cook rice.......she burn't it

I know its crazy that some people cant boil an egg or dont have time.... i mean its 10 minutes max and it isnt rocket science.

I think they should learn the bascis too...scrambled egg, rice, pasta etc.

lol when you fancy a boiled egg what better 'alternatives' can you think of... :p

I dont know...order a boiled egg from Asda website and make sure you click the option that says if none are availiable then pick closest alternative and see what they come up with.

I would go for a whole cooked chicken and a sausage if I wanted a protein boost.

They're both on display for sale, where that is doesn't matter.

I agree that sometimes convenience foods are going too far, but this is just the same as prepared carrots/potatoes etc.

Yaeh i know its not a drama..i just dont see why someone would buy a boiled egg and why a company would sell one. If you wanted one that bad you would boil one yourself!
