What is this car warning light?

Hi,
My Dad phoned me, he's had a warning light come up on his car today. Been searching tinternet but can't find pictures.
It's of a person sitting with a seatbelt on and a circle/disc in front of them, i'm assuming it's the airbag light?
The book didn't come with the car so can't check that, anyone know of a fix?
Nissan Almera Tino if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

Is it in a picasso?

Reason for asking is it's a very common issue. Have it on mine, drivers seat is the course but not worth re-wiring airbag. Steering wheel/passenger dash will still function.

Hook up a diagnostics computer will tell you the fault then reset the fault code see if it comes back. If you don't have the equipment local garage would charge £20 or nothing. A chain would charge £50.

Hi mate, check your seat belt tensioner connectors sometimes located under your seat. With your ignition off disconnect the block and reconnect it. Then switch on your ignition. The block is possibly blue in colour. Think it is an airbag warning.Hope this helps. Chris.

Thanks guys, will pass on the info.
Hope it goes away, makes him uneasy to have a flashing light on the dash!
