''Hit-And-Run Asylum Seeker To Stay In UK''

A failed asylum-seeker who ran a 12-year-old girl over and left her to die has won the right to remain in the UK.

Aso Mohammed Ibrahim will be allowed to remain after an appeal by the UK Border Agency was rejected by an Asylum and Immigration Tribunal.
The 33-year-old Iraqi Kurd was already banned from driving when he ran Amy Houston down in November 2003.
He fled the scene, leaving her dying beneath the wheels of his car.

What an absolute disgrace - no wonder the father is angry. Im ashamed to be british sometimes. we let this criminal who killed a little girl remain here? hes more than likely on benefits to!

Why is a failed asylum seeker still in the country in the first place?

To me the fact that he is a failed asylum seeker Is just a Side note. The **** should be dealt with severely for killing somebody whilst already banned from driving. The penalty should be made even more severe for leaving the scene. The asylum seek part just rubs salt into the wound

It's not a side note to me, if the immigration body had ruled he was not allowed to claim asylum then he shouldn't have been here in the first place. They have been partly to blame in this too.

Our legal system is a disgrace and this proves it. How can Mr cameron justify this!

Yes but we don't know the circumstances behind that. What upsets me is a 4 month sentence, thats a joke. He should have got 14 years.

I have some penne and spaghetti pasta. We could make a pasta-style dart gun. Would that suffice?

Me? I didn't let a scumbag piece of crap enter the country, or worse, still allow him to stay after this.

I'm not the mental one, mate.

Maybe the child ran out in front of him? However he shouldn't have been driving in the first place. He's already proven himself to disregard our laws - no way should he be allowed to stay.

I didn't say I want to hurt just anyone. I just want the job of kicking the crap out of these people before throwing them into the sea to swim back to wherever they came from. Closely followed be the pathetic weaklings who make the decisions to let them stay.

What does being a failed asylum seeker have to do with him being a hit and run driver?

Scum is scum regardless of race or creed.

if he did this in whichever craphole he came from(and should be shipped back to in a small box) he would be stoned, whipped, bummed or some other such punishment,he does it here and gets to stay....disgusting

he complains about human rights being breached if he is sent back, dont make me laugh, what about the human rights of the little girl he hit and her family?

If I saw this piece of scum in the street I would spit on him(srs)

This. 4 months? Wtf is this real?

Open question: if he's a failed asylum seeker why hasn't he been deported?

If i was the mother or father of the little girl i would want the guy to stay in the country as it would be harder to find the scumbag in iraq and give him whats coming to him. Eye for an eye.
#34
Just seen the father on Sky news say that the guy has since been arrested for driving while disqualified and no insurance and has also been charged with burglary and drug offences,

It's news like this that makes me sick, this guy should have been publicly executed. If he had done the same in Iraq no doubt he would have been flogged on the streets of Baghdad. But what is even worse is that the Judges allowed this guy to stay, this country is far too soft on foreign criminals. It is little wonder that at times like this the uneducated turn to the BNP and EDL.

Read the article. He's allowed to stay because after prison he got married to a british woman and had two kids with her, harry and zara.

The most important thing here is:

Ibrahim was jailed for four months after admitting driving while disqualified and failing to stop after an accident.

4 months? I don't care what country you came from - you kill an innocent girl and drive off, you should get life behind bars.
It's not this guy I'm angry with, it's our pathetic judicial system!

Exactly!! The English legal system seems to be favouring the criminals. The Judicial system is full of old farts who are in their own little bubble, they don't know the reality of what's outside their little circle. We need a radical overhaul on the selection process for Judges.

Shame we can't get wikileaks to leak the personal details of the people who commit crimes such as this. I am sure there are a lot of people who wouldn't mind taking the law into their own hands.

The judges refused to deport him solely because he has 2 kids in the UK. Not to be too cold hearted but I believe the kids would be better off without a father like this and probably even the mother if she was willing to sleep with such a person.

Iraqi capital punishment seems the most appropriate here..
