what would be a better idea is this

tell us budget, and if you need a monitor

any other details you might want, and let us help you better. picking from just one supplier isnt the best way

>and some gaming

This is the KEY phrase in your description.

Almost ANY PC can be used for web browsing, email, etc etc, but gaming requires very specific graphics capability.

We need to know WHAT games as the graphics capability of a computer defines what games you can play.

You can spend between £20 and £250 for a graphics card and you dont want to spend too much for basic games, or too little if you want the latest games.

well £320 max budget and ebuyer because delivery seems quick but yh any trusted website would be good. i dont need a monitor, if one is supplied all the better but its not majorly needed. just need one that can handle alot of things open like music, games (football manager mainly lol) and internet etc, also downloads alot of stuff from bit torrent. cheers for the help everyone,it is really appreciated.

All rubbish and overpriced.

Something like this:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/618762/dell-vostro-230mt-d032304-1t-b-hard

Is much cheaper and faster.

that does look good and especially for the price, would it run everything ok (and football manager, he seems obsessed with that game!) =)

yes, its the games that we need most info on, what he plays

so we can choose a pc that doesnt cost thousands just because you mentioned gaming, and please a budget too

Well I'd add a £30-40 graphics card, but then yeah it will be find with older games. And better than the ebuyer ones.

are graphic cards easy to install though? (last time i fiddled with the computer i flicked the voltage switch by mistake and that was the end of that computer lol)

a modern pci video card is very easy, no switches, just plug into the slot, install the driver software, job done

With a good graphics card that will be fine, I have that processor myself and do a lot of gaming. £50ish for the graphics card would be good, depends on the PSU aswell, could do with asking in that thread.

ok, i think il add the "dvi adapter card", is that at all any good? weLl enough for what i need?. and thanks for alll your help. rep will be given, to both =)
