Only ASB gives a **** about FS/FT. and hes off on his adventures most of the time so you can't blame him.

The rest of the - in the main - idiotic, moronic brainless mod team are usually busy in the misc deleting stuff about the apprentice to care about FS/FT

As your link demonstrates, that is what spam link is for.

Moderation is what I would call inconsistent, I'm not sure if ASB has been around for the last 3 days, but we still have a banned member active on the forums, who usually would of been banned, we have threads running for long enough to get a incorrect sale.

Tell a lie ASB has been on and rectified the banned member, either way due to the mods inconsistences he sold an item through pm. But his account has been sorted which is a plus for the member in question.

We don't get too see every post/thread, however when reported, we will action as required.

Adam, let me know what you are on about and I shall review.

Vb1, consistent as usual, I shall credit you with that, however the mods do a good turn in my view, you'll only be too aware of the wasteful resources dealing with misc complaints/reports that could be better spent elsewhere.

Then ignore the serial complainants who target individual posters regardless of post content or context ;)

You'll notice I gave you some credit - because its due. The majority of the remainder of the mod team are, indeed, unfit for purpose.

Indeed, the manpower required for misc is way OTT IMHO, I shall be raising this issue directly.

I disagree with your other point though, it's ultra busy and I think they all do a good job.

You have already done it as per pm.

There is a bit of a slow down with response to the FS/FT responses chief and they are sometimes not issued in the same way you would do. I guess a little of your absence is down to this time of the year.

But the banned member should of been banned straight away when it was found to be a multi, either way it's sorted now.

If its busy, some people would say its better the mods concentrate on stopping the cons, than whether I've upset some scummy benefit cheats etc. (as an example)

I think I remember the thread in question, however given the fact that the member was banned incorrectly, it was left for my review. As there seemed no 'danger' it was left due to the unusual circumstances.

We are here, pretty typically on a 24/7 basis, however if there are any threads/posts which have been reported and appear unactioned, either report again through the usual channels or if pretty clear and straight fwd, a warning can be self posted in the thread as a temp measure.

I have to agree with Vibe on this one, not because I think that the mods are doing a poor job, just that the priority in reports should be towards the con's that will creep in this busy period. I know we have a lot of people that report threads for good reasoning, and there not always right but for example with the banned member that was left open for a few days surely a suspension could of took place to stop the person, for all we know he could of been a scammer.

Already do that, but as I mentioned before there not as clear cut when you are abscent, but as always I will personally keep the reports going, much to JB's dismay. X)

You can't re-report anymore (not properly anyway). This was a useful feature - sometimes re-reporting did result in action.

It does fella ask JB she told me off for doing this, when a thread is a threat I ignore this warning at my own peril.

So even if it says "You have already reported this post"..... it still sends a report?!

Perhaps if you stopped being such a gigantic tool vibeone, moderators wouldn't need to waste their time dealing with your childish antics..

Reported. (twice)

PS: You're a massive ****.

Oh the irony....

This is one of the very clear example, to show that the seller deliberately committed a sale with the consent that he is not allowed to do so.

Indeed then again this is Sigmas fault for not answering the question directly when asked. Though the poster should of read the rules also.

I must admit I think the Mods do a good job,But if they can't keep-up with Policing the Site then why don't they have more Minor Mods who they know could do the job professionally free of charge & are never off the Site.

The re-reporting defo works Vibe.

@Adam: perhaps HUKD needs more Mods..I haven't seen Cuzzy around for a while too.

He has been on, I am unaware of his activity though, I have made a post in the past about this and JB refused this as being a problem. So I dropped the subject on the forums.

Can only point it out and hope something is done, if they don't want another active mod or have no one suitable not a lot we can do but keep reporting.

Cuzzy does a good shift in terms of hours, however all mods aren't directly visible.

The itunes voucher was a bit sneaky I'd say. Sigma answered the OP in full, however we don't check every post, as I previously mentioned. The onus is on the member to adhere to the rules.

With regards to moderation and the general housekeeping of the board, members really do most of the work involved. The huge volume of traffic on this site will no doubt lead to other tools being deployed. Infact juliet_bravo has already posted a little teaser.

Teaser?

Did the person that cheated the rules now incur an infraction?

There's no way for us to track members board use, though I have seen a few mods chipping in on FS/FT.

Does anyone remember the username of the very high feedbacks member, that left HUKD because he was classified as trader by selling/ trading PC parts ?

^^^ what's that got to do with this thread?

This thread is about the slack fs/ft moderation ( which let's be honest needs a second iron fist alongside ASB )

No matter what I think of him asb does a great job as far as fs/ft goes and really does need another bod in there with him.

Incidentally vb1 as much as a pain in the proverbial sassie is/was on here she did do a great job with fs/ft stuff and hopefully she still does.

If Mods banned that person, how would you be able to sort your problems out with that person ?

If you read the Thread you will see the Seller told the Mod he was not refunding me even after the Mod told him what the Rules where. You think the guy may still refund me now after 8 months :-)
