What's likely to happen??? Hotel was booked but confirmation email hasn't arrived?

Basically, I booked the hotel 48 hours ago and received an email saying they're processing it and will confirm within 24 hours but we still haven't heard anything back....

I checked with the hotel itself yesterday and they still had plenty of space but now I'm just wondering what is likely to happen since they haven't confirmed it?

Can anyone advise, as we had our heart set on this hotel?

Who was it booked through? Call them direct

not one person on here will know for definite. Your only option would be to phone the hotel direct not ask randoms on the internet. you may as well have ran out into the street and shouted your question.

You will either ,

a- be charged full price for the honeymoon suite and be given a basic single room

b- be charged full price for a standard double and be given the broom cupboard

or

maybe just ring your booking agent :|

The reason why I was asking is because the website and contact number for bookings is closed but from what I know, if a retailer hasn't charged your card, then they're not liable for anything, as I was getting worried, as we spent nearly £1500 and now the hotel's not available and all the other hotel prices has increased drastically for the dates we booked the flights.

You checked with the hotel but didn't bother to mention your booking :|

They said we have to speak to the website we ordered from, as they could only help for orders booked directly through them.

I called the booking agent and they're closed until tomorrow but we're getting worried, as we're going in less than 2 weeks and the prices for all the 5 star hotels has increased drastically and our budget is tight already.

I know where youre coming from now, tbh i had a similar scenario with a holiday i'd booked for my olds.......they ended up having to change their travelling dates to the following week because the hotel was fully booked.

If i was you i'd start looking for new accommodation now, thats if youve booked your flights seperately.

Damn, as we had our hearts set on this hotel, as it's stunning in every way and has been rated as one of the best hotels, while also having an Aqua Park and 8 all inclusive restaurants and loads of all inclusive bars...

Even the hotels that can't compare is more expensive than this place now.
