What's your Christmas tradition?

So What's your Christmas tradition? Something that you always do anything that you did is a child and have now passed on to your family?

I always make a sausage and herb loaf stuffing, it tastes gorgeous and quite easy to make but I only make it once a year. We'll have some on crackers tonight, tomorrow and for a good few days to come. I've been doing that for about 10 years.

Since I was a child we always had ice cream and my mum's special recipe chocolate sauce for dessert after christmas dinner, I still do that with my family now.

My sister always has to have chocolate for breakfast on christmas day.

Christmas PJs on xmas eve has to be the main one that has carried on from when I was a child I think

Always have a cooked breakfast after opening presents to keep us going until xmas dinner at nans, which is always later than she says :P

Mum and dad have non-alcoholic mulled wine, carol concert on tv and exchange 1 gift at midnight xmas eve

Tradition in more recent years is having a buffet and watching flint street nativity on xmas eve

melba toast-I always made it myself for my gran when we had christmas dinner at her house for years, then I always made it at my mums and now its the only thing I am allowed to make for christmas dinner in our own house-mrs barky makes everything else.Been doing the christmas day melba toast since I was six years old-lol.

cooked brekkie about 11am tomorrow which we have always done and always gone to a pantomime with the whole family on boxing day.

Mine's just cooling, we have ours for Christmas day tea, and Boxing Day's, and the next and so on.

Usual tradition of opening PJs tonight. My son (5) is gearing himself up to open something completely different, he's going to be disappointed when we force the PJ shaped present on him.

Ours is 5kg this year! We will have it hot tonight, then cold for ages, some in the freezer for later and some in a turkey and ham pie sometime next week. Although we're not cooking tomorrow, hope the mother in law does enough for us to scrounge some

The only tradition we have in my family is to put an orange or Clementine in the kids stockings and new pyjamas on Christmas Eve :)
Just going to play "Father Christmas" now as the kids are fast asleep :)
