What's your pornstar name??

On the topic of names i thought this would be a good one to "bash" about...

to make your pornstar name ( my version anyway ) you take the name of your first pet and your mothers maiden name

Mine would be : Dirk Diggler ( op edit )

lol-on a slightly serious note-this may not be a great idea since they are the 2 most commonly used passwords on the internet for banking/secure logins. Wonder if it was a scammer who first came up with this idea?
#2
as if anyone can get anything from that - and what is it with you calling me stupid again?
#3
brb searching the data bases for Broadbelts from Leeds :{
#4
If you then see some further threads asking for your date of birth and then your first school .. You know the score.
#5
and your bank account number is??
#6

you havent offended anyone m8,was just pointing out that, while this is quite funny, its not entirely safe. Now say a member had done a trade/sale with someone in the past on here and had their name/address/phone number from that deal,or even their bank account number from paying by bank transfer-they could read this thread, get the info and do some serious damage with it if they wanted to could they not? I am not having a pop at YOU,just stating that this is unsafe.

No one thinks you are a scammer .

My post was just a joke. But it's still not wise to give out your mams maiden name on the internet or your first pets name etc.

I'm sure that no-one thought that at all...

.... but this it the www and anyone can see those details. Let's say you've just done a deal on FS and you have given your bank details, you've now given the two most common security details. There are those who might try their hand at clearing out your current account. Not just you of course OP - anyone giving these details..

I KNEW you'd come back with that response lol! Na seriously though, M maiden name, and pet etc, it would be easy to track people down with that kind of info especially with other bits of info peeps give away. Not to mention if you have ever used fs/t you have probably already given your name/addy/bank details or paypal away, too many fruit loops on here, you are too trusting!

glad to know you ain't mad.. lol
but yes as an after thought this was a pretty dumb thread to start but not being the sharpest tool in the shed ( as you so eloquently pointed out ) i didn't realise ;)

I have never used family or pet names for passwords - I always use the same word - "password" :p

No, seriously, I change my passwords every month - plus they are never ever family names or stuff

It's not the passwords BB; it's the security info, for such as on-line banking, like mother's maiden name etc. usually people give the correct 'answer' as they can remember it.
People are usually much more careful about their passwords and their pin numbers.

This reminds me of a scam I got caught out with the other day. Some bloke knocked at the door and asked if he could see my butt. Turns out he just wanted to look at my butt; I feel so cheap now.
