What should I do with my PS2 (+about 15 games) and original XBOX(+about 8 games)

Well I now have these boxed up and ready to get rid of. Should I list them on Ebay, for sale or trade here or trade them in at Game?

The Xbox is about 2 months old.

I know they're not worth much now but I don't want to get stuck with them.

Only sell on ebay if you are confident of avoiding the scammers.

£60? I don't think you'd have much trouble getting that amount. Surely even GAME/Gamestation would pay that much too.

Game don't list any Xbox stuff in their trade in list any more.

Might truck my luck on the FS/FT boards here first.

What do you think is a realistic price for them?

edit: truck my luck! brilliant. Obviously mean try my luck...

Tricky one. I'm aware of most scams. I think Ebay would be a last resort though.

What is your asking price for the Xbox+games.

If you can get yourself some sodium chlorate you could mod it, as shown on YouTube:

Why not take them to the Childrens Ward at your local hospital???

For the sake of the hassle and the little return you'll get, can you imagine the Joy and Hapiness you could bringh to some very sick Kiddies?????

Just a thought.....
#14
I would love to be able to do that but I should be able to get £100 - £150 for everything which is a lot of money when you've just bought your first house...
#15
have you tried CEX, unloaded my xbox stuff there, very reasonable
#16
Go for it and stick it in the fs/ft forum.

Looks like you got interests!
#17
put them in your local paper advertised something like 'modern state of the art gaming consoles - xbox and playstation (no refunds)'. Hopefully some naive parent will buy them for their kid thinking they're the new models.

Was thinking about doing something similar for my old school ps2, 5 oldish games couple of joypads, memory card etc.
Rather than put it in the fs/ft forum I was wondering about taking it into game and exchanging it in there rather than have to mess about with postage costs etc.
Any body had any experience of exchanging stuff in game or similar high street shops?

You would only have game vouchers though, they can't be used any where else, can they?

You can get cash if you want but they offer more for vouchers....

No CEX near me :(

Go for it and stick it in the fs/ft forum.

I'm going to advertise them at work and if they haven't sold by Friday I'll stick them on the FS/FT board here over the weekend.

Any idea on how much I should advertise at?
