Ernie The Fastest Milkman in the West by Benny Hill.

Wicked.

When I DJ at birthday parties, I always offer to play the number 1 song from the day the person was born. This can work on some dates better than others.

I did one a few years back and the song was The Theme From MASH. (Suicide is Painless).

The girl's dad had topped himself a couple of years earlier.

Okay...well i remember all of those being released!! Quite a trip trip down a time-line - i have memories for each of the songs mentioned so far. One of the earliest was being trailed round the shops in Croydon to find a copy of Elvis Presleys 'The Wonder of You', as my sister was desperate for one and just about all of the shops had sold out.
