Im afraid you need to give more information ,What cable box are you using ? . How is it connected to TV (scart etc).

Asking for a friend, and as specific i can get is - Its an old analog cable box, with big red numbers displayed on the front. It connects to the tv, by a cable that is screwed to the aerial socket.

Its connected via RF, have a look what channel it is outputing from the box. ie channel 68 or its frequency and tune your tv to that exact channel or freq'... take into consideration that if you also use it to pick up other channels make sure the channel you choose doesn't interfere with anything...

Manuel tune your tv to see if you can get a better sound quality. Might be just off on freq'
