I can't do this anymore. They have changed the site and it is ridiculously slow and unhelpful, I cannot bring myself to make any more attempts to do my usual online shop which usually takes 30 minutes, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Is anyone else having issues? I'm thinking of moving to Tescos! Or even, shock horror, actually visiting the store and pushing a trolley around! Bad times.

Yeah I used it last night and it was painfully slow and then logged me out at random times - was using my brothers computer and thought it was that but it seems its not the case

No you're right, I was trying it at home all this week and it was awful, logging me out etc, so I just tried it in work with what I'm assuming is a much better internet connection and PC and it's just the same. It's depressing me so much that I'm seriously considering trying Tesco.com as I just hate the supermarkets and I've shopped online for ages now :x

Yeah I can bare to shop in the actual supermarket now other than to get a few bits - I get trolley rage if its a full shop and speed around with steam coming off the wheels like a mad woman

LOL me too! And, I always spend more than I intended to, I can be more disciplined online. I'm trying Tescos tonight, there's no way I'm dealing with Asda.com like that. Thanks for confirming that it's not just me!

Stop using Asda a long time ago. site waaaay too slow, timed out, losing delivery slots. They phoned one day and asked why hadnt placed an order in a while, i told them their site sucked and i used Tesco(lesser of 2 evils) instead.

Good call, do you find Tescos easy to use?

I took ages inputting an order the other day and it just emptied the basket with no warning!!!!
I got fed up at that point and ordered through tescos instead.
Tescos is ok but you have to watch them with their subsitute items. Asda subsitute things with things of greater value and still charge you for the same price as the original whereas tesco almost always choose things of greater value and charge you the higher amount! I had a 2 for £2.50 offer ordered and one of them wasnt available so instead of choosing something else on the offer they chose something else and I ended up paying £2.00 more. It is ok if I am there to say I dont want them but when someone else takes the delivery its a problem.

Thanks for the tip, if theres an option to not take subs then I'll choose that just in case. I'm so annoyed with Asda because all my faves were on a list which made it so easy to order - fume!

I'd just rather not go spend hours fighting in the aisles and queuing, better things to do I'm afraid! ;-)

exactly. no fun with a dozen carrier bags, 2 kids and a bus ride with a walk up the hill home. Home delivery is a must. Though Sommerfields is sometimes worth the extra as you can go in, shop then leave your trolley and have it delivered later.

Our local Somerfields and Tescos are very small, you'd be hard pushed to do a full shop in them (I'm sure the online Tescos would deliver from the larger store out of the immediate area), so Asda is my only choice really, other than driving out of the area. Regardless, I've just got so used to ordering in now, I know I'd hate life if I had to go and I'd probably miss loads of stuff out yet spend more like I said lol

Just got back from doing the weekly shop at morrisons (used the £5 off voucher out the sun) instead of shopping online with Asda. Over the last 2 weeks of ordering online with Asda I have been overcharged £18.79 and am still waiting for my money back keep palming my off but not going to take any of the brown stuff for much longer. It is easier to do online shopping especially with 3 kids, but if I am overcharged I can get the money back straight away. Shops are quick enough to take the money but not as quick to give it back. :x

I've had a quick scout round the delivery websites, and i can't stand them. I'd much prefer to go into the store so i can clearly pick what i want, and see what i'm buying. If there's a substitute item on the shelf on offer, then i'll get that instead.

Online supermarket shopping is crap.

got fraud on my card from asda. made delivery for groceries, got it delivered.but at the same time it was a delivery at diferent address with asda entertaiment.phoned asda and for security reasons nobody did explane to me whats happening or were it was delivered. so in the end asda never called me or write to me saying sorry. just had to cancel my card.

I do my shopping through mysupermarket.com. It's much better than doing it directly with the supermarket websites as it gives you cheaper alternatives as well as being a faster site. And you get ipoints.

Totally agree, the new Asda site is useless. Tried ordering Strongbow in the 2 for £14 offer and it didn't take it into account. Going through mysupermarket.com the deal showed up and it seems to work a lot quicker.
