You know what I mean, don't want to buy cakes for 65 people and want them to have stock.
A little thanks for working hard....

I'd be likely to have eaten all the doughnuts if I was.

That's why I asked, worried about your stock drying up!

Which is why you need 70 doughnuts I guess - you've not got enough sausage meat.....

Have you considered phoning them? It would seem logical to me.

Type in Tesco, scroll down and there is a list of individual stores and their local numbers.

Not something you understand I guess.
I am not a manager just a trainer and these guys have worked well achieved targets and we are sitting well above targets now so just a bit of a thanks for doing the job properly..

I'd ring, I have a feeling the doughnuts come in frozen and if they havent got enough they are not going to be able to 'make' you some while you wait, I might be wrong but the icy jam ive had in mine when I bought them early may be an indicator. On that note im sure farmfoods and iceland sell them frozen so why not go this eve and get some and defrost yrself?

heres a sensible answer!!! i worked the night shift at tesco and finished at 6am, the bakery were usually putting things out at that time, so, i would say between 6 and 7 am is your best time :)

You're correct! Donuts are supplied to Tesco frozen then defrosted by the bakery the morning before sale. They are relatively fresh as the next days load turn up the night before by trailer.

Once they are sold out, they won't have anymore, so best time to get there would be 6am - 10am before the store gets busy.

You ungrateful sod!
I think it's nice this guy is going out of his way, paying from his own pocket (ok, not much but it's the thought that counts a lot of the time) and using his initiative to do a nice thing for the people he works with.
If it was me I would think it was a nice gesture.

Make sure you get doggy bags too in case they can't finish their doughnut in one sitting.

10 doh nuts for a quid x7 = 7 quid...hardly think tesco would give a flying chuck if they keep the op happy or not!
