What to ask for at Christmas?

Everyone's starting to ask me what I want for Christmas and I don't know! What have you all asked for? I get money every year, but my parents are old fashioned and always insist I "have something to unwrap on the day"?!
I don't want: an iPad, iPhone, iPod, anything with the prefix "i", a laptop, phone, TV (basically anything gadgety)!
Any ideas?

havent asked for anything-as long as the children are happy thats all that matters to me.I prefer little tokens rather than anything of any substantial value-something my 3 year old made at nursery would be more meaningful to me than anything money could buy. I think when you get to adulthood, and can buy the gadgety things for yourself you prefer to just let others choose little things for you rather than actually name a gift.

Fragrance,clothes,shoes,handbag.

I'm not looking for anything myself.

My parents wouldn't have a clue what to buy me!

They're all stuff I buy normally, or get them in the sales... with the money they've given me!

It's not your problem baffled.

Not fair that they are making you responsible for their present to you!.

Just tell your folks you would be happy with anything and let them choose.

Christmas is a time for giving.

I think tickets to concerts are good if they know your musical taste. Also things such as spa days etc.
You don't want them wasting their money on something that you're not going to enjoy, so a good idea to give them a few ideas.

Alternatively.....those fortnum and mason hampers are quite good, and any of the random stuff that you don't eat can be given away and the basket used for other stuff

When people ask me i tell them to get the kids something extra. I don't need or get excited by presents and must be difficult to buy for as if i want something i just go out and get it.
