If you have a Home Bargains near you, they usually have little baby albums or those things where you make a plaster cast of the foot or something like that. Not very expensive at all and is something to treasure forever.

A very delicate question and please don't take this the wrong way.
Do you now refer to them as twins or is it triplets, as technically, they are still triplets.
What are the parents saying.

I like the plaster cast idea thing. They will always refer to having 3 children. Babies come home next week hence I wanted to get a little gift. Thanks for your comments - I have a great little boy and family are the most recious thing aren't they.

I think that is a lovely idea, but you will obviously need to get it sorted staright away for the wee little one, so they can take the cast of the wee ones hands and feet

I'm sure a lot of card shops will do the plaster set things as well if you don't have a home bargains nearby. Or even arts and crafts shops will sell them.

sorry to hear of the lost of the baby i had a miscarriage in april so i now its hard i found a few poems helped why not print one off for you friend too maybe add the d.o.b and apic of an angel here is a couple of my favs

Tiny Footprints on a Mother's Heart

When a baby arrives,
be it for a day, a month, a year or more,
or perhaps only a sweet flickering moment-
the fragile spark of a tender soul
the secret swell of a new pregnancy
the goldfish flutter known to only you-
you are unmistakeningly changed...
the tiny footprints left behind on your heart
bespeak your name as Mother.

this one made me cry but true

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane, I'd walk right
up to heaven gates and bring you home again.

i have this in a frame with an angel in the back ground and my baby's name and d.o.b. on it every time i look at it it reminds me she is out there looking over us hope this helps as for the children that are living there is lots out there guess it depends on if you a keepsake or just something they are going to use and get enjoyment out of?

i lost my son when he was three weeks old, and the worst thing people could do was not let me talk about him or not mention him. he's have been three on wednesday and people are only just starting to feel they can talk about him too. we have since had a little girl and that doesnt take away from the fact i have a son. so would advice that u tread bery carefully in regards to the third triplet. if they wanna mention her make sure you let them.

i think its too late to get a cast of the little angel but the suggestion of a poem or a little teddy for each of the three of them. matching teddies. xx
