Hi i sold a pc and the buyer was ment to collect it tonight at 7pm,at 6 i got a call from the winner telling me they couldnt afford to pay for it due to sudden repair costs on their car,it was good from them to call me but only calling me a hour before they were due to collect isnt good, also i have a car to run and still expect to pay for the things i won on ebay etc,it wont let me leave negative feedback yet as its too early, will ebay let me relist it for free or would i have to pay again?thanks

IF you submit a non paying bidder form thing and then put down that the sale has been mutually withdrawn you will ge tyour fees back and you can relist it

exactly why I try not to sell on eBay anymore

10% FVFs + PP fees
can't neg a bad buyer (buyer can behave how they like)
PP alweays find in buyers favour unless you have a business account

grrr

you should do if you can prove the buyer is a NNB - but as it was not through PP it may be tricky. eBay may say that the sale went through - prove it did not! Hopefully your buyer agrees to mutually withdraw from the sale.

yeh used to be ok a couple of years back but they take all they can get, stopped selling on there unless i have something good to sell. Very good to buy from though especially DVDs etc as free shipping

I had the same happen with me and a computer sale on ebay! Agreed to collect then didnt turn up and no contact since. I did the non paying bidder thing and got all my fees back. Thing is though you cant see on their ebay page that they have a strike against them which i think is annoying.

ebay is so wrong, it works against genuine sellers and buyers, its a real poor show

I don't think you should go down the "Mutually agreed" route as the buyer let you down and they deserve an unpaid strike. Just report them as not paying for the item and ebay will credit your final value fee.

How is your buyers feedback rating thus far?
#13
yeh so silly i can give them negative feedback, bloody joke isnt it!!

Over how many transactions? If they don't want the strike they should at least agree to pay your listing and fv fees?

No but you can give them a strike, which can stop them doing it to others and see them booted off, if it's a habit.

+1

And you can still make a comment that they didn't pay in the feedback.

im not sure how much the fvf would be inc seller fees, the pc sold for £70,might be worth me asking the seller to refund me this through paypal
#19

same happened to me i sold conserverty furniture, she rang to say she would be here in an hour i came home from a family day out (glad it was sold) and she came and said oh its bigger than i thought it wont fit (i had the sizes on the listing) i was so annoyed more so that i had came home with the family, so i did a mutual withdrawl she ticked the box to agree and i got fees back, not my listing fees tho :( its very annoying i try only sell things i post now if i do ever sell
