I'm heading down to Blackpool for a few days because that bloody volcanic ash got my flights to Dublin cancelled. So its a bit last minute and I was wondering if anyone could recommend stuff to do and if their are any deals on tickets for things?

Cheers

theres a big casino if thats your thing. pleasure beach, the tower-tussauds waxworks.

not sure if the doctor who exhibition is still on. the grand theatre usually has good shows but unfortunately its peppa pig on atm.

theres a place on the royal mile(cant remember the name) that has tribute acts all the time and is a fun night if thats your bag.

have you checked if blackpool are playing at home this weekend?

Cheers I haven't been to blackpool since I was a kid so can't remember whats about except the pleasure beach.

Just checked and Blackpool are playing away but I'm going with the missus so would have been a job getting her to go see them

Is it best to book online for tickets to shows/pleasure beach or just get them down there?

YOu could grab yourself a shed load of big issues and sell them for profit:whistling: Thats what most people do there.
Gone down hill in recent years IMO

Sandcastle - tropical Indoor themed water park, Zoo, Model Village, Stanley Park, Pleasure Beach, Tower, 3 Piers, Grand Theatre, Opera House and Sea Life. Loads to do but can be expensive

Pleasure beach is cheaper online, other than that you need the locals card which gets you into places cheaper

If you have tesco vouchers

Yes - try go to the Tower as there's loads to do in there - bars, shows, amusements, kids area if you've got the wee ones plus a trip up to the top of the tower as well. Its a good place to go if its raining. You used to be able to go in early and then return later on same day if you got your hand stamped but don't know if they do that any more.

I'm going to Blackpool tomorrow for the weekend!!

Paddy if you're interested I would recommend the Ripleys Believe it or Not museum. I went to one in the states and it was awesome!

Discount vouchers makes it £3 entry rather than £8.
