OK, so I've asked loads of people about this, and it seems to be about 50/50 on people that have no idea what I'm going on about, and those that do but can't remember where it's from.... Can anyone…

OK, so I've asked loads of people about this, and it seems to be about 50/50 on people that have no idea what I'm going on about, and those that do but can't remember where it's from....

Can anyone stop me and the other half driving each other mad trying to think what it is....?

There is a scene in a TV show or film where someone cuts a piece of cake from this magnificent cake when they shouldn't,and eats it. They then pack the gap with a load of stuff, and put toothpaste all over it to look like the frosting / icing to hide the fact that they've scoffed a piece.

You won't believe how much time we have devoted to finding out the answer to this totally pointless thing, but you would be helping me put us out of our misery if you know what it was :)

Thanks guys!

Lol! Well, I've never heard of it, so I don't think it could be that :)

I *think* it's an American sit-com??? But really not sure.....

I keep thinking Friends, but I'm sure I'd remember it in more detail if it was - I'm one of those geeks that watches Friends over and over... :)

I used to watch Johnny Briggs.... so could it really be that?! The cake in my head is far too lavish for one in Johnny Briggs though, surely?! Hehe!

"Two episodes in particular - one where Jonny had to make some gingerbread men for school and the dog ate them and one where his mam had made a wedding cake and Albert (the horrible brother) ate some and they all tried to disguise it by putting toothpaste in place of the missing cake and icing.
