it took researchers to find this out!!!!!!
how dare they assume that most parents didnt realise this - it does make me angry!!!!

i realised this when mine were babies - up to about 9 - 12months had facing towards me so they are assured - then as they get older and more curious had one other way

bl@@dy researchers -

Buggy direction 'affects child'
Children who are put in buggies which leave them facing away from their parent could have their development undermined, a study has suggested.

Researchers found that youngsters in prams which face the pusher are more likely to talk, laugh and interact.

More than 2,700 parent-infant pairs were observed across the UK and a smaller study was done in Dundee.

Parents in away-facing buggies talked less to the child and the youngster appeared to be more stressed.

So looking at 1 person all the time is more stimulating than many of different people, cars and things moving about.............:?.............NOT. They need a variety.

They are t**ts, overly looked into pointless research ;-)

I've found that some people just do research for the sake of......doing research!!!

For example;
I'm expecting my 4th child (yes, I am mad!)
When at my midwife appointment I was told that they've now devised a way of working out what weight the baby will be when born!!!

How do they do this? They've added up my last 3 children's weights & dived by 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Considering my 1st child(a boy) was 9lb 4ozs then my next(a girl) was 7lbs 9oz then my third(another girl) was 7lbs 7oz. Isn't it bloody obvious that I have big boys & nice sized little girls!!!!!
Why do they have to get all technical? Isn't anything in life left to chance anymore????
