What would you do?

Ok, I ordered a bed from a large bed company about 6 weeks ago - received delivery 2 weeks after. Process complete quickly and efficiently.
Today, I received a message from the company saying that they wanted to arrange to deliver my bed this Friday. If I am unavailable this day, I need to ring back to rearrange.
I have obviously already received my bed and expect that this is an error and another duplicate order has been processed (but not charged - well not yet anyway).

What would you do? Ring them up and explain that you have already received your bed and this order has been incorrectly duplicated or accept delivery in the hope that you do not get charged twice.

Honest answers please!

phone them and tell them

you dont want to be responsible for a company going into administration do you?
#8
Id let them carry it in, up the stairs, let them sweet.

Then at the last minute, say "Oops, sorry..... I have already got one, came last week."

I can see your point and ( despite my previous remark )
I would always be honest HOWEVER if this company continues
to behave like this I think it will be in administration through its' own actions
don't you?

I had this same situation with Next, they delivered 2 on the same day? and charged me for both a month later, they came and collected it a few weeks later, but I complained saying that it wasn't my fault and it had been cluttering my hallway and I had to have a day off work for collection, I got a nice gift voucher :)
#15
Sorry if I misunderstood...but... -

They delivered 2 on the same day, which presumably means you were already waiting for collection anyway?

And then complained because it inconvenienced you?!
#16
be honest
#17
Yeah be honest.
You asked for honest answers...
#18
accept it wait a few weeks to see if they charge you

if not flog it!

makes a change to get somat in error its usually the other way around....gettting charged twice or not getting it at all

seen a few threads on here where people have received extra copies of games in error and flogged em here

your choice...

They delivered 2, I didn't realise on the day due to the packaging, it inconvenienced me as I had to wait for the 2nd to be collected and it took them 2 weeks to return to collect it.

Ok, rang on Wednesday to inform them that a mistake had been made. Customer Service said they would get the order cancelled for me.
At 8.15am, the door bell rings with the bed. I informed the driver that it should not have been delivered as I had already received one. He said that this has happened a few times and said that he would take it back to the depot for me. He asked me to sign the confirmation which would void the delivery. I quickly caught on to what he would be doing (claiming the item for himself), so I asked him to deliver it and I would rearrange collection. After a few minutes debate with him about this, he finally left the items in my hallway.
