I know what i would do but maybe not after reading this (link below), who would actually return it to Camelot?

Lottery organisers have warned people to guard their tickets after a couple who found a £30,000 winning ticket and cashed it in were sentenced for fraud

"If no corresponding prize claim or lost ticket notice has been received, the prize may be paid to the finder at Camelot's discretion after the expiry of the 180-day claim deadline."

In other words if you were honest and handed it in, Camelot would be SCUM and say SORRY you cannot have it.

I would cash it then gamble with the winnings just for the lulz.

When I reach £2,000,000 I would probs give some to charity. I would buy my hood team some new whips though first.

Depends i guess. I think an important thing would be weather it was a winner when i picked it up, or weather i pick it up on a wednesday and it wins on the sat. lol.

The question is how did they prove it was that over ladies?? I thought that would have been near immpossible...

After reading this I would prob think twice to keeping it.

Cash it and stick it in a Caymans account, i'd like to see them get a warrant to freeze the funds there.

The only problem with that is your admitting you know what you were doing. Just cash it out and distribute it out between lots of people you trust as a loan.
So when the police come and ask about the money you have spent it.
Then you get your friends to book you holidays buy your car and make payment back into your current account a little at a time.

Take it, wait till they take me to court and use the most mature and sensible logic

I always pick up lottery tickets and scratch cards.
So far I have had 5 wins.
I believe this is justice as people shouldn't be allowed to buy them if they are too stupid to see they have won and anyone who throws cards they think have lost on the ground should forfeit the cash for being litter louts.
Eat yer heart out nobs!
LOL

No mention of them having to pay it back, and its an 11 month suspended sentence so if they dnt get nicked again they dont have to go to jail either.
Sounds not bad tbh considering htey were debt ridden and its now clear, and theyr basically scot free.

I'd keep it
