I was just thinking, even if i won the lottery i would still sit here looking for bargains. seems a shame to throw good money away when you can always get it cheaper.

I would pay off mine and all my friends university debts. I'd finally bother passing my driving test given the incentive of affording a car. Then I'd buy everyone on HUKD a pint :)

You don't have £1000000 for the winner of this all important question do you wwwderyaok?

If I won a million I still wouldn;t pay off my student loan.

Way I see it is that £10000 is better earning 6% in savings account rather than being charged interest at the rate of inflation. Another moneysaving tip.

Stick it in the bank quickly so it starts earning interest. Then I'd ask around to find a good financial advisor.

Buy a Bugatti Veyron and spend the rest on a week's petrol?
Nah, It'd have to be a BMW M6. But as Doublecuffs said I'd bank most it, otherwise a million pounds might be spent moronically.

One thing I'd do is get (possibly a few) monster custom PCs made :-D

Mm, strange you should raise the question. Where i work, a young lad came in yesterday to hand in his uniform, and when we asked why he said he won 2.3m on the lottery, was chucking in the job, and going on holiday. :w00t:

If I won 2.3million I'd probably throw the uniform around the car park, nice of him to return it :)

firstly id never win £1m+, hence i dont participate in such things.

However, if i find £1m lying in the street one day, id fulfil my aims by buying an evo and set up my restaurant...then a fair %age of that to oxfam and keepachildalive

although i wouldnt spend money found on streets especially £1m id run away, lets just say if ive got £1m in my bank or even 100k

A good friend of mine won £1.2m on the lottery at the age of 26.

He bought a slightly bigger house a couple of streets away from where he already lived, gave up work and bought a TVR Cerbera.

His financial advisor told him that he'd have to invest at least £700,000 of it if he wanted to "retire".

He paid off a few of his families' mortgages and did what the financial advisor advised and retired.

After about 3 years he got really bored and now works part time in a passport office. His life has changed very little, and he perhaps has a less interesting job than he had before.

:pirate: CJ :pirate:

PS He sold the TVR and now drives a people carrier, exciting eh?
