I would have gone for the Ferdinand/Vidic defence - probably the best in the Premiership, and thats not because I support Utd :-D

Jo?
Fabregas?

A few players in your list haven't been that good THIS season.

Anelka is the top scorer in the league, Kevin Davies has had his best ever season, and Stoke have defied everyone this season by pretty much guarenteeing safety, and we aren't even into May.

Team: Liverpool

1. Vidic
2. Ireland
3. Lampard
4. Shay Given
5. Anelka
6. Jagielka
7. Ronaldo
8. ???
9. ???
10. ???

I'm struggling, did hasn't been many stand out performers this season, and having to leave out Liverpool players is hard, especially when there is 4 in the OP

Top scorers aren't always fantastic. Fabregas has been made skipper and I think he's handled it very well.

Jo

Jo???

You're having a laugh :w00t:

We bombed him out 'cos he's the biggest misfit City have bought in years, and he aint that much at Everton either.

Sorry. Some cracking players in your list, but seriously, JO :w00t:

none taken, these players arent even the best in the spl. well with the exception of scott brown, but these are the people who i feel have been consistantly good for a lesser team than the old firm and have made the league that bit more exciting, would have liked to put Gary Kenneth in their aswell but could only have 11

So around 3 decent games for Everton and he becomes 'inspiring' to watch? :w00t:

In that case, Geovanni scored a couple of crackers. He goes onto the list.

lol-yea-gareth who?!never wanted him to go and just hope he doesnt go anywhere this summer-him and monster are one of the best cm pairings in the world imo..

50m?most of that budget is blown on ur midfield!add in given and ur cb pairing and u wont have much change from 80m!

Fair enough, so I shall set myself up to be shot at.

In no particular order: -

1) Stephen Ireland
2) Edwin Van Der Sar
3) Stevie G
4) Vidic
5) Gareth Barry
6) Lampard
7) Jamie Carragher
8) Hangeland
9) Lampard
10) Fellaini (If just for his mad hair)

I would have had Agbonlahor in there (as the only striker of any real note this season) but injuries have kept him out a bit. But he is one of the reasons Villa were doing so well

he's really tailed off with young, burn out i'd say,

Anelka has been firing all season, amongst the best in Europe at present.

van der sar hasn't been all that. his defence has shielded him, and he's been brutally exposed when without rio and vidic.

ps; is frank lampard snr included ;-)

Cahill has been playing quite well for Everton this season. The interview yesterday made me laugh though.

''Im Everton through and through''
''Would you move to Liverpool?''
''Nah, that goes against everything I stand for.''
''What if Barcelona approached you?''
''I'd tell them to speak with the gaffer''

Hmmmmmm
