I like it, maybe once in a blue moon. Isnt something Id like to have a whole bottle of. Go in a pub and take a tipple before you buy a whole bottle of the stuff?

It definitely has a reputation as an old lady's drink lol

If you live near New Romey Kent
I would personaly invite you for a drink on the house at our bar to try it. :)

I don't want to try it, I think it's maybe a very harsh version of Baileys, (purely 'cos of the cream)

Buy Baileys instead!!

Then again, if you really wanna try it, buy it, you'll never know until you do.

Happy drinking

not like baileys :-D

It isn't anything like Baileys, not thick and creamy in that sense. It's like sherry or sweet wine to look at. No actual cream in it as far as I'm aware, it just feels quite thick in the mouth...if thats not a confusing explanation

Exactly! Here is a lovely description. http://www.waitrosewine.com/230202109/Product.aspx

Actually I quite like it but wouldn't drink it if I was going out. It's nothing more than a sherry though.

lol it aint anything magic or unusual, sherry is just fortified wine... wine aged a bit longer or summat dunno, no huge taste sensation or anything , tastes like any other wine to me

Well....it's not creamy and doesn't taste like Bristol.
Does that help?

Oi watch it:whistling:

It's just sherry
... better than most sweet wine/sherry/port stuff and comes in a dry as well, I seem to think. Drinkable with ice and lemonade plus lemon if nothing else is available.

I mix it with methylated spirits.....The meths take the taste away:-D

Always have a sherry before my Sunday dinner. Harveys B C is nice but quite sweet.
Croft original is dryer.
Aldi's cheepo sherry goes down OK as well. LOL.
I never drink more than two glasses before my meal though.
