just wondered what GB DDR Corsair Platinum XMS3200C2PT (4 x 256MB) was worth?

i have it in a pc i got from here and will be replacing it
just after a rough price

As a four pack, I'd say not much. People are going to have to take RAM out of their system to install all four DIMMs, and who wants to pay much for such a small upgrade? As a double pack though, you might get some sucker to spend a decent amount, though. I wouldn't give you more than a tenner for them, but then, I know my stuff. There's loads of people that see flash marketing words and lose all reason though, so you might even be able to get £20 per double-pack. Good luck with it.
