If I need a quick boost I take Berocca, they come in useful I think if we got a cold or run down in general, they usually perk me up.I don't take them on regular basis, but like with anything it's probably a good idea to take them for a while to get well into your system.

neither are food supplements...i use barroca and it really does make me feel better..might be psychological but hey who cares

Food supplements wouldn't they be things like Nestle Build Ups and Soups and stuff you can buy in chemists and places.

i take a multi vitamin, plus evening primrose, never thought they would make a difference tbh, but my complextion has improved ten fold, i suffered quite badly with 'adult acne' but there hardly a trace now, the primrose was suggested by the Dr for achy breasts  and they do work, just the supermarkets own brands too, quite often on offer, give it a try

sorry thought they would suppliment a bad diet. i have barrocca at the moment and think it does make a difference but have heard cintrum is the worlds favourite?

I think the Centrum is A-Z of everything while the Berocca doesn't have everything in it.
Oh I see what you mean now by supplement, well I would rather improve eating than relying on a vitamin & mineral mix themselves..

your bad diet will always affect your body ...it's not a long term solution just an extra boost as someone said before...when you are getting a cold or feeling run down etc

i take build ups(have to due to disability, not bad diet). Highly reccommend them, can get them on script as i do. They have everything you need and you can soley survive on them if you totally had to. Nestle don't make mine, mine come in a wee bottle with a straw already made up. been on them about ten years.

sorry not build up, here it is

Berocca is a mix of vitamins B & C.

Reasearch shows that excess vitamin B can cause nerve damage and excess vitamin C has been linked to several forms of cancer.

I'm not aware of any research suggesting that Berocca does anything useful, other than (maybe) reducing the symptoms of a hangover (slightly). I spent last year watching my best friend die of cancer - I'd rather have a thousand hangovers! (Actually, I probably have, and if I haven't I hope to live long enough that I will.)

What makes you think you need any kind of vitamin supplement (other than the manufacturer's advertsing)?

Have you tried improving your diet (eat a bit of fruit), gettting more exercise (like walking to work) and getting more sleep? Whenever I do these things I feel much better, it's just easier to let it all slip by the wayside and kid ourselves that popping a coupe of pills everyday will do the trick instead.
