depends on your hair type.. whats it like? is it permed or treated apart from the colour.

And is it a lower colour than your normal hair or higher?

Do you colour your hair yourself?

When my hairdresser does mine I ask what products to best use with it...

Are you male or female ? Box is very good for men. Home Bargains have had both shampoo & conditioner in at £1 per bottle. Amazon have it at £5.69 at moment. Not sure for girls - sorry.

It depends on your hair, we all use different stuff in our house because we have different hair types and whats good for one isnt good for another

I have always found RedKen very good - try www.venus365.co.uk for good prices.

My hair is in need of treat ( i have straight hair ), i was bleached blond for many years and now im going natural which is a very dark blond/very light brown . I have to dye my hair darker cuz of blond showing through. i do both sometimes the hair dresser dyes my hair sometimes i do it myself.

I did ask the hairdresser , she said regis but its not keeping my colour in even tho its for coloured hair

im female

I don't believe any of the shampoos / conditioners that say they are good for colours, actually work. They don't contain any chemical agents that affect the colour.
If you look at the list of ingredients, they are the same as most other shampoos / conditioners, the only difference is the colour and smell of the shampoo.
IMO clever marketing only

I use Kerastase Reflection Bain Miroir Shampoo and Kerastase Reflection Lait Chroma Reflect Conditioner. The Shampoo is about £12 and the Conditioner is about £17.

I think they are both really good despite being ridiculously priced. I have my hair coloured every couple of months and this is the only thing I have found that protects my colour and keeps my hair in excellent condition.

Do you live anywhere near a home bargains or b&m bargains ? I don't but i do regularly visit both stores & can tell you they both have a good range of hair products at prices much cheaper than you can find elsewhere so you could try a few different ones out for a good price :)

Hi River . I sometimes use Schwarzkopf Bonacure Colour Save shampoo / conditioner and KMS Colour Vitality Colour Protectant.
Has it made the texture of your hair thinner letting the natural hair grow through?

I have some like £30 shizz.

I'll have a look what it's called.

I use the revlon professional shampoos conditioners and spray ins. But I have blonde hair thats been lowlighted in reds, purples, coppers and blondes.. It doesn't need much help, as it's normal hair and it tends to keep the colour quite well.

Toni & Guys shampoo and conditioner is amazing. Its the one they use in the salon for their clients. I grab a few bottles everytime I go in. If you can afford it, do it.

+1 this is my absolute fave shampoo and conditioner.... may be expensive to some but definitely money well spent :)

I'm a massive fan of Tigi's Bed Head range. I love their Superstar shampoo and conditioner and if my hair's feeling a bit dry, I switch to their Self Absorbed shampoo and conditioner.

My sister however swears by Tigi's S Factor range and says it leaves her hair feeling really soft.

i use ausie its usually on 2 for £5 in supermarkets ive got sensitive skin and its great for me but like others have said it all depends on you and yours :)
#25
im guessin it doesnt matter if u use female products on mens hair? :)
#26
;-) can't beat soap & water
#27
The amount of silicone in the products is what makes your hair feels soft, anything else goes down the plughole

Boots basics are surprisingly very good. Very close in formulation to some of the top stuff, just the fragrance is different. The fragrance just washes out anyway, so don't waste your money on the top stuff - try Boots basics.

Can anyone recommend a good shampoo for fine flyaway naturally blond hair please?
#30
I love the dove shampoos/conditioners - £1 each at the mo in Morrisons. They have several types ie colour, fine, dry etc. Worth trying as it's not a lot if it's no use to you. I look like i've been dragged through a bush backwards most mornings and wash my hair and use straighteners most days. Dove always leaves my hair soft and shiny.
