Forms are normally for entering data, rather than going into the tables (which you should never really do).

Use the reports for if you want to collate any information into different formats - you would use the reports to make reports that you would like to print off, for example.

So a report is to look at data whereas a form is to edit data ?

i remember doing this in GCSEs, guess they still do them now.

A report will show the data collected in reading format.

for example if you have data of customers, you will create a report showing there details

Well... you would have tables as the main part of your database, and then use forms to navigate through your DB and to view and enter information.

Then, have reports for things that you would like to print off, or to do various reports on the data you've collated.

i.e. you might want to have a form called "Add Supplier" or one called "View Suppliers", which would show all the info about them. You might then want a report called "All Suppliers A-Z" or "All Suppliers by Type" - using the data from your forms, but using the reports to see it how you want to see it...

Am I making sense?!
