3+ points or a ban if youve topped up(even without a licence) for driving without a licence, without L plates, without supervision
#2
i would assume you would loose your provisional and get some sort of ban
#3
I would presume the 'and you haven't yet passed?' would be self explanitory, given that you're a learner :-D

Probably points on your license and a fine.

Chances are you would also be uninsured...

This happened to a friend of mine ages ago, he got 6 points on his license and a fine, the worst thing was the 6 points didnt apply until he passed his test so he got banned for 2 years after passing his test for getting 6 points in first 2 years of driving lol
#6
and you'd loose the car too.

You should put Sky3 on as Road Wars is always on with example of this!
#7
cant get away with anything these days..how do they expect kids to learn road skills

If you get 6 points on your licence within the first two years of driving, you must reapply for a provisional and retake your test. You don't get a ban as such.

This information is available here, and maybe somewhere on this site is the answer to the OP's original question :

From the website you quoted "Drivers who incur 6 points or more during the 2 year probationary period after passing the driving test will have their licence revoked automatically by the Secretary of State; they will be able to drive only after application for a provisional licence pending the passing of a further test"

Sounds like a ban to me :)

Not to mention, you could be potentially putting peoples lives at risk... no matter how good you may think you are at driving, let a tester decide when you are fit to drive alone, you usually get a full driving license in the post when this happens

The licence is revoked and you have to take your test again. That's what I meant by "you dont get a ban as such".

If you were banned you wouldn't be able to drive until the end of your ban. With this, you can drive once you have your provisional (as a learner) and retake your test asap.

haha didnt mean to argue with you

Hey, no argument here.
I was more concerned that your friend thought he was banned and could have been driving all that time!

My half-wit son got caught speeding the very first day he got insured, got 6 points and that was the end of that.

My ban started straight away.

You should be shot for doing this.
Especially if you hit my car or hurt my family.
#19
should be given the death penalty either that or have to endure Jermey Kyle every second every day for rest of your life
banned#20
1. no license ban with points could be a 2 year ban
2. points & fine possible ban for no insurance
3.fine for no L plates and being unsupervised
4.being a danger to others, anything were to happen you would be very much in the crapper. be looking at jail term

basically you would be screwed and judging by post's you dont have a leg to stand on.

You would be uninsured. You have to have someone sitting next to you over the age of 21 and who's been driving for 3 years.

I was going to suggest getting shot in the face and nuked from orbit but thats far more cruel.

37points, relegation, a 2 year ban, they automatically make you vote tory for 20 years and they inject you with herpes.

I just wanted to carry on the consistent advice.

OP if you've done this your an idiot and I hope they throw the book at you
#25
If it was up to me you would be put in a cell with a very large homosexual who has a liking of breaking brand new bottoms!!:x
#26
If they do throw the book at you, its usually this one.

They did with me and I'm glad of it, I look back and think of consequences that could have been, this was pre computerised checks so I got away with it often enough before by giving a blag name and address and dob then quickly selling the car, only ever got stopped at roadside spotchecks in the early hours in /near town centre (had odd shift started 4pm ended 3am in a factory, never got stopped when doing overtime that ended 7am) though and never for my driving itself.

You simply cant get away with having no insurance/tax/licence now as everything is computerised and everything can be verified or disproved on the spot.
