I didn't say there was anything wrong with this thread. I just thought the other thread may interest you too.

I appeared on the Xmas edition of "Freetime" playing snakes and ladders on a life size board. That was in 1982 I think, not many people will remember that show. It was like Magpie and had Mick Robertson as the presenter. Met Tommy Boyd, Dusty Bin and Geoffrey from Rainbow.
Was on Songs of Praise once too.

Lol.:)

That show drove me round the bend. Were you one of the scary smiling stage school children?
Poor Rod Hull fell off his roof fixing his aerial.:-(

I have a few!

If I was seen on BBC2 at the Masters Snooker, I have been on all 5 terrestrial channels as well as Sky Sports 1!

I was on Children's Antique Roadshow AGES ago on BBC1 when they were in Bristol. Managed to see the bloke who operates the legened that is Gordon The Goafer who was sweating buckets the poor man! My dad had LOADS of Beatles memorabilia and Sarah Greene said "Look, your Dad is blowing John Lennon back to life!". Of course, I had no clue what she was on about, but now I'm older, I know what she means, and can see some sexual inuendo in that!

I would have been in the crowd in the Masters Snooker on BBC2, but this is yet to be confirmed.

I was in the crowd at The Rec watching Bath Rugby play in ITV/HTV/Channel 3 whilst eating a packet of Salt & Vinegar Golden Wonder crisps!

I was in the crowd during a live eviction on The Farm on Channel 5. I think you saw me a few times, but if not, you would have seen my HUGE Nike umbrella which they told everyone to spin as they went to an ad break!

I was (once again) in the crowd on Sky Sports 1 watching Southampton v Chelsea. I wanted to make sure I was seen on TV as I was behind the goal, so I wore an orange t-shirt. This turned out to be a very bad choice as all the stewards were in orange too! And there were LOADS of them! But I did see myself on TV when I watched the game back! It was just about worth it though as it was FREEZING at the game! I had a big coat on me, but didn't want to wear it as it may have spoilt my chances of being on Sky!

And I've left my best/fave til last!

I opened a box at the end of a Deal Or No Deal show on channel 4!

Sadly my second longest amount of air time was probably my worst as I didn't really smile! I was too busy concentrating on opening the box and doing it right!

I was seen loads of other times on the show though, so that helped! :D

My son was an extra in the film 'King Arthur' - 5 days of filming for 40 seconds' fame!

I've been in the papers loads of times (NOT as 'the defendant':giggle: ), and have been on TV lots (I have a season ticket at a rugby club, the seat is right in the firing line of one of the cameras).

My biggest claim to fame is that I nearly met the Queen - she was at an event that I had to attend, but as she started walking towards me some people whose job it was to walk ahead of her & part the crowds pushed me back out of the way. Good job, too, as the only other time I've seen her is on a stamp so I probably would have licked the side of her face:giggle:
