Hello all. I have just been to look at carpets at my room, and I stumbled across the idea of artificial grass.

So now I'm hooked and I need to pursue this idea, My room isn't the biggest and the quote came to £260 so that's a no go. It worked out at £19.99 a square metre.

Any help please?

Try B&Q or HERE (Never heard of that company before though so might want to do some research first)

Make your own!

Construction Paper
1
Pass one to two sheets of green construction paper through a paper shredder.

2
Use a pair of scissors to cut your strips down to the length you want your grass to be.

3
Gather cut strips into your hands and scrunch them up to give them a crinkled texture.

4
Apply your finished grass using your chosen craft glue.

I have this stuff in my garden, hoover it once a year.
Paid over £20 a square meter but worth every penny, it looks as good as the day it was laid.

None taken, the idea is that it is extremely low maintenance, looks good all year round and is better than concrete. I'm happy relaxing, supping my pina coladas on a warm summers sunday afternoon whilst all around me the sound of lawn mowers can be heard busily cutting other peoples lawn's (_;)

Daft question, but do you get cats cra*ping in your garden still? We suffer terrible with other peoples annoying cats and we are going to concrete it over to get rid of the horrible things.

Fair enough - although I do like the smell of a fresh cut lawn.

Give Casparwhite a PM. I'm sure he's said he can supply cheap grass.
