Have you got a desktop PC with sata connection and cable? If so then you should be able to manage it quite easily enough yourself.

You just need a bog standard SATA cable, you may have one you can use in your PC (connected to DVD Drive maybe) or you can buy one for a couple of quid off eBay or ebuyer.

Software can be downloaded from torrent sites or newsgroups. You need the application to do the flashing and the custom firmware appropriate to your xbox and needs.

In a nutshell, you take the xbox apart which is fairly straightforward. You disconnect the SATA cable from the xbox drive and plug your pc one into it. You fire up your PC then the xbox. The Xbox drive comes up as a dvd drive in My Computer. Follow the instructions for the software, usually a few button clicks and your done.
