yeah a few of the chemists do testing kits etc. some do them for free others may charge

Home Diabetes Tests which you can get from the chemist help you test for glucose in the blood or urine, which could then lead to further diagnosis and confirmation by a medical professional. :)

If you are constantly thristy, drinking a lot and urniating a lot then its well worth getting tested

Book a doctors appointment and they will do a urnie and blood test and will probs need to a fasting blood test (no food/drink before hand) so if your going in the morning you'd be wise to only have water from midnight before.

The 'chemists' test can give you a rough idea if you might have it (although try not to have anything sugary for 2 hours before) but you still want to get checked out by the doctor particulalry if they say your blood sugar level is high

Definately go to the doctors as the test is much more extensive and looks at if you are borderline, the other tests just test one thing and can give a false reading for various reasons. Diabetics use the home kit but still have to have the proper blood test at the doctors on a regular basis.

IF you have red hair you must have diabetes.

Mclovin - the internet doc.

Definitely, definitely a GP - not only can they test you accurately but if you do have diabetes they can give you the suppoert you need.

Try and avoid sugary things just to be on the safe sad until Monday, if you start to feel or are sick at all then make sure you get seen to asap.

i had it done yesterday at asda as i was out shopping
it was 7.2 which they said was normal considering i had just eaten tea

My turn now, heh (no laughing matter)

I drink pint after pint of fluids, which never seem to quench my thirst, sometimes one eye will go kind of blurry vision for a short period of time, also get a racing heart beat from time to time too.

I've not been to the doctors about it because, i don't like going.

Have been diagnosed with a form of Raynard's disease though.

Please go to the doctor's anyway. As ^^^^ the symptoms could mean other problems. Better safe than sorry.
