Arni has been kidnapped. Theres £1000 in it for you if you can help find him

Meet Arni. Arni is a 19 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy. Last Saturday night Arni was settling into his new home, happily chomping away on a slipper while his owner was out, when burglars broke in. After stealing the car, the tv, and anything else they could lay their hands on, the burglars then stole poor Arni.

Thats right. This cute little fella has been kidnapped, and his owner Kat is quite understandably devastated. So much so, that shes offering £1000 reward to anybody who can give any information that leads to Arnis safe return.

Have you seen Arni? Do you have any idea who may be responsible?

If you think you may have any leads to Arni's whereabouts, then please fill in our secure form below and we will get back in touch as soon as possible

Real shame - something that always concerns me.

Dog napping really is getting more common, I voted hot - hope it gets to the front page.

Unfortunately Staffordshire Bull Terriers are in the top 3 to be dog napped.

thats a shame, hope they find him soon, lets hope they had him mircochipped

To be fair all a microchip does is prove your the owner, without visually giving any identification of the dog. Mine are Microchiped and tattooed which can visually be a deterrent to people looking to steal dogs.

If they had a couple of piercings as well, you'd be guaranteed people would leave em along :giggle:

Why would anyone steal a dog, am I missing something here? I'd be worried if my doggie Josie was stolen, mainly because someone with that frame of mind is capable of anything.

I think lists of known dog knappers should be made available to the public, you wouldn't want to live near one would you!

A lot of it is to get the heart broken owners to pay up an reward.

Other reasons may be breeding or dog fighting, in particular with 'Bull' type dogs.

Usually it is the former.

Someone was offering 10K for the return of their border collie, but had been missing for about 10 years - that in my eyes was a lost cause - most likely missing then stolen.

Bruce Forsyth's daughter's dogs were also stolen, if you remember hearing something about it?

I would reccomend getting your dog tattooed and microchipped - just in case.

Also make sure there is decent advertising money and a decent reward in your insurance policy. The reward with direct line is only 50 pounds - nobody capable of stealing a dog will hand it back over for that. Even though if you have more you would amost definately pay out more - if you really wanted your dog back.

Thats so sad, i hope the owners get arni back x

Very sad but definitely worth putting on Doglost, how can they be so sure he was stolen and didnt wander off after the burglary ? long shot i know but worth covering every possibility.

Kidnapped pup is safe and sound, and recovering at home with his owners…

Staffordshire bull terrier pup Arnie has been reunited with his owners after being discovered wandering in a park in Wythenshawe.

Arnie was stolen during a burglary at his owners’ house, but thankfully became separated from his kidnappers and was found by a local woman in a park in Newall Green on Thursday.

Arnie is now recovering from his ordeal at home with his delighted owners, and is said to have suffered no injuries or side affects from his adventure.

Altogether now…. ‘PHEW’.
