Dont know about the met office forecast but it has always annoyed me how the BBC and ITV weather forecasts are so different when they are shown only half an hour apart on the evening news.

I reckon its more guess work than science !

This is the 3rd year running the Met Office have predicted a scorching summer, I guess sooner of later they may get one right if they keep predicting the same thing, they struggle to forecast what is going to happen tomorrow let alone a whole summer.

Dont you think its a little early to be moaning about the summer considering today is the very first day of it!

Spring was great down south (Brighton) with very little rain and plenty of sunshine compared to average.

Best thing to do if you want to find out where your summer is, is to look out of the window every morning.....Met Office are about as much use as breasts on a bull.......

and I thought it always rained in Wales as well... :p

Well in the middle of this week it was saying that the middle of next week will be 28c in Cardiff so you may be in luck. However, you know how quick they change their minds so perhaps it will snow instead!!

25th June is latest sunset actually. Mornings started drawing in a week ago.

longest day doesnt equal latest sunset / earliest sunrise. Strange but true. Same in winter.

I think you have completely misunderstood what the met office reported on, like lots do every year.
