I work next door to Thomas Cook, and they said the recession is not hitting them at all. Apparently people are going on holiday instead of having new kitchens, bathrooms etc. She also said they think it's due to the bad sumer we had last year.

India for 3 weeks with the kids, got flights for £296 return - Bargain!

Disney World Florida.

We would have been staying home this year - but my mother in law has paid for us to go out.

Feeling very fortunate!

There are so many great things to do in the UK. We don't appreciate it enough!

Prices will have rocketed as the pound has plummeted against the Euro and Dollar, which are the two main currencies that the resorts will no doubt charge the UK travel agencies in...conversely, that's probably why they've been so cheap in recent years, when the pound was stronger...

I went to Zante about 15 years ago with my mum, she loved it so much she went back 4 years in a row. We had a great holiday - great weather and beaches. The only thing that wasn't great was me and my sister b!tch fighting all the time... Mum had to call in my brothers to break us up. We were in our 20's at the time
