Apart from the current offers at HMV, can anyone recommend somewhere cheap to buy HD DVDs?

Looking to pay less than £5.00 per disk if possible.

Dandoc has a fair point to be honest. If someone is new to HD dvd then getting some films can be quite difficult (or pricey now).

As long as you're happy buying a limited number of titles that's left and already have the hardware then that's cool. That's exactly what I do.

Hope you find the titles you're interested in but buy them as soon as you can coz it may not be available tomorrow!

I'm sure the £2.00 off at HMV didn't help supplies! :)

Yep thats what i meant - people who had a drive when hd dvd died were the most fortunate as prices dropped - lucky to pick up matrix trilogy now for cheap or even bourne identity - i own 84 hd dvds which ive accumulated since like may this year

I really dont think its worth having a hd dvd drive now if you dont have any films as all the best titles are gone

I think we're all in the same boat now, that is the people that have HD drives or players. We either stick with them or we flog them on. I'll stick with it (got 122 titles and even a spare player, players only cost 49 quid each) and I'm still on the lookout for cheap decent titles. I also got Blu Ray but only got 40 something titles as I've bought opted to buy certain titles on the cheaper HD format.

As long as we all realize that there's never gonna be another title released then there's no problem. Is there?

out of the ~50 hd dvd's ive bought, i would only be able to buy about 5-6 blu-rays with the same amount of money.

Fair enough. I was purely looking to pick up a few bargains if there are any still about, not start a massive collection. :)

The dvdstreet.co.uk trader appears to be a new Marketplace trader with no ratings. Has anyone bought from him? Any comments on reliability?
