Where to go on holiday in November?...

We are looking to go abroad on holiday at beginning of Nov for 1 Week.
Ideally we want to find somewhere that is still going to be hot -ish (ie sunbathing weather)

I have never been abroad at this time of year before, so have no idea where would be nice at this time.
Hoping that some people on here may have some good advice on where to travel.
I will give the rest of the requirements in case anyone spots anything perfect!

2 Adults
Travelling beginning Nov from a Midlands airport
1 Week
All inclusive (hopefully!)
Walking distance to a beach/shops

Budget is a max of £1000, but would rather be less than this (this is hukd!)

Any ideas?!

Rep waiting, thanks for reading!

Egypt and take your bathers with you!

I would recommend Sharm El Sheik for that time of year, hot, but nice climate, you should get a decent all inc. deal for £500 each at that time of year. Scuba is excellent!

I don't know if this link works for you, but I find eclipse a good site to see what you can get.. then try to better their offers!

Also these days, I would generally go for All inclusive or half board and upgrade to full board if you can, as it is so expensive in Europe.

when i went to sharm in january I paid £379 all inclusive for a week. It was an awesome winter holiday and definitely helped get rid of the winter blues!

Eclipes are basically first choice, but on line, and slightly cheaper.

I would recommend Dahab for that time of year, hot, but nice climate, and the bonus is you get to avoid the worst elements of the AI brigade that flock to Sharm. Scuba is excellent!

that was booked through first choice around the beginning of december, the holiday was booked for the 5th of january, so it was about 3 weeks in advance.

I went to Tunisia at start of nov last year. Was around £800 for 2 all inclusive in a thomson platinum hotel. (riu bellevue, port el kantaoui) but i believe you can get this cheaper, seen it at £330 each before. One thing with thomson if you check out the website daily the prices go up and down. Still very hot when we went. Hotel is right on beach, shops are near to hotel or taxi into port el kantaoui 2 mins away.More of a relaxing holiday if thats what you're after, no nightlife around apart from in hotel or going to the other hotels. :)

Yeah Dahab is better imho but not sure its better for kids, if you get into the Dahab Hilton, which sounds very grand but it is the cheapest Hilton in the world (I was told) there is lots for the kids and a lovely sandy beach but otherwise you should consider Sharm first as the hotels have excellent facilities for kids. If you do nothing else you must snorkel at worst or scuba if you can... Here are a few pics I took with a cheap Vivitar underwater camera.....

Just read OP again and can see no kids so definetly Dahab!

I am staying at the Le Meridian Hotel In Dahab in 3 weeks time, I got a good deal from here www.egypt-uncovered.com
#26
thanks, but seems to be just tours on that site DKLS?
#27
quick question...
are holidays on lastminute.com (and lots of other websites) 'package' holidays or are they just booking the flight and hotel seperately for you? (or maybe they search both types?)
thanks!

Yup but ring em and they will scrap the tour bit, like they did for me.
My deal is:

Fly into sharm
Transfer to Dahab
Le Meridian hotel

No trips, unless I sort out at that end.
