i just watched it. Horrible. the poor animal.
Disgusting child who is in desperate need of being told to put down the cake.
I hope she grows up haunted by this video for the rest of her life.

I am really beginning to despise the youth of today, the way they act, the way they are and what they do. from what i see every day in the college i teach in. its horrible to say it but its true. the british youth have little to no respect for any one or any thing.

now i know this is a sweeping statement and there are many MANY kids who fall outside of it but it seems to be becoming increasingly common.

Sums up the image potrayed by most of the youth of today.

I think it stems from lack of punishment, I mean do you think she'll be at all bothered by being "grounded" for what she did to this poor animal?

I think a lot worse would have happened to me if my Dad ever caught me doing anything like that!!!

i think that certain youth build ups (since im 17) are very dependant on who they "hang" with. Ive seen many people moving on to weed and alcohol in the last year due to colleges freeness. However, there are many good youth talent that want good results. I think that the youth are less than 2% of the problem.

I don't understand how the 'neighbour' could have stood and filmed that for 13 minutes, you think he'd have stepped in and stopped her before then. I didn't watch it btw, just read the story.

I dont quite understand this either..1 minute 13seconds...hmmmm..i dont quite know how they can film for that long

i was thinking the exact same thing when i watched.
i would have run over and physically taken the dog off her.

i think thats slightly harsh towards "most" of the youth of today..no doubt some of them are bad but this is a 13 year old and doesnt sum up the youth with kicking a dog..I think this is a one off incident thats been blown a little bit out of proportion by the media..Dont get me wrong..its bad but major news...hmmm

Okay, maybe a bit of a sweeping statement.

Am I just getting old then?

Granted. im not denying at all that there are the good ones, or that they may be in the majority.
However in my experience in the Weston-super-mare/Bristol area its frankly appalling. Rude, Vile, argumentative, think the way forward is getting drunk, doing drugs, fighting, stealing swearing etc.

Its not the norm you expect from teenagers either. and these do seem to be in the majority. which is the depressing thing. for example I work with at least 10/11 different classes over the course of the week and so far since September we have had between 10 and 20 with serious criminal charges.. not that ASBO rubbish.. GBH etc.. and this is suppost to be one of the better colleges in the south west.

Why do people set up and join these pointless Facebook groups?

A friend of mine is always sending me invites, and I never even look at them, let alone join.

You have got to get to some reading if you think the Sun is a major paper!

when was the last time the Sun "reported" some actual news that wasn't Peter Andre's latest boob job* or something about the MOST RACIST CAT IN THE UK?!?*

*headlines may or may not be completely fictional

Sounds familiar. My estate is filled with exactly the same kind of "young adults". I mean don't get me wrong, I did some things which were not exactly legal when I was in my teens but none of them ever involved violence/criminal damage, which seems to be the best way to earn "respect" of your friends/peers these days.

I'm not going to proclaim to have been a saint when i was a teen either. However i did have a clear sense of what is right and wrong. Youth these days seem to be proud of hurting people, stealing, getting in trouble, being disrespectful and being a public nuisance. Its a horrible state of affairs.

I am soooo glad she isn't my daughter. Not only would I be completely ashamed to call her mine, but I wouldn't like to think what I'd do. No child of mine will ever act in that way.

I wish they could name and shame her so she would have to face responsibility for what she's done. Everyone should know the kind of person she is.

I never read tabloids because the "news" within is always sensationalised and sometimes entirely made up.

One wonders where a child of this age has learnt violence and how to make another creature cower before her and also why her self-esteem levels are so low that she would do that.

Obviously a very troubled person. Hope her parents find her some counselling sessions to try to explore whatever wrongs have been going on there and for her to find other ways for her to express her feelings, that will not cause harm to anyone or anything in the future.
