http://www.hotukdeals.com/all/for-sale-trade/new :whistling:

seriously though, I know a few guys who have sold similar things via small local stores who sell such things, or even forbidden planet.
They post up for-sale flyers with their contact details.

I'll always kick myself over selling all of my Starwars toys when I was about 12 in order to fund some fancy brakes for my bike. I got about £20 for the ewok village, y-wing, AT-ST and a whole host of figures which are now worth a bloody fortune. At that time they were worth nowt though, it was 17 years ago!

Norwich has a local Star Wars club full of enthusiastic collectors that I'm sure would love to take the stuff off your hands. Put up some pics and I reckon someone would love to make you an offer.

ODB might be interested in the Millennium Falcon depending on which edition it is and its condition. I only normally buy mint items though. Well it you can put some good quality pics up I'll take a look.

Ebay is probably your best bet. Most collectors keep a close eye on there, so there's usually a bit of a bidding war.

It's true we do. However as their not boxed and ebay pics aren't great it's a little risky buying a job lot. So I don't usually bother.

Oilfrost1, Welcome by the way.

OMG Choc I would be here all week writing it

I mean cant even remember all the vehicles let alone the figures...I can remember:

Millenium Falcon
X-Wing (Battle Damaged version)
B-Wing
Slave 1
AT-AT ('Dog Walker')
AT-ST ('Chicken Walker') x 2
Speeder Bikes x 2
Tie Interceptor
Transport Ship (like the ones that fled Hoth...NEVER knew another person with this but it was great as it held loads of figures and had a handle thing on top so it was like a carry case too lol)
Star Destroyer Deck with Vader's 'Throne' room (weird one that...its just a skeleton representing the inside of the ship and then Vaders throne at the back that lights up)

then there are various random ships like rebel ships and mini walker things that werent actually in the films but made and sold as official Star Wars stuff (Lucas cashing in no doubts)

then have Rancor, Jabba and throne, Jabba's band (been told this is rare?) and a ton of other figures...many more than 1 too

Check out item No. 310108173073 mate

Saying that, the Akira cel I stuck on ebay didn't shift at £80 when the only others listed were several hundred quid, so you can't always go off others valuations.

Personally I'd say split them up and list them on ebay, more chance of selling them and people will bid on whats rare/valuable where they might not on a job lot

Never sell too big a job lot as explained from other posters, sell on ebay, never trade them in etc to shops as they'll take a large cut for themselves into consideration

Sell international on ebay and offer p&p to places like america as with the low pound they'll be getting a bargain in their eyes

Good luck

There is a guy with a collectors shop in Reading (in Harris Arcade I think) who buys all things - got a fairly decent Doctor Who/Star Wars collection in there. Buys all sorts, my friend got rid of a huge Doctor Who collection a few years back & made a small fortune  (Well, a few hundred quid anyway)

Maybe go to a specialist collectors fair and see what people are selling for there and perhaps make some contacts?

See here for exaple
