Yeah it is...well was.

Metroland closed down - They auctioned off the rides (Rollerocaster and swings etc)

The yellow end is being refurbished at the min...looks swish.

Gateshead is the largest in the UK followed by Bluewater.

The largest urban centre is now the Westfield in London

I don't think TC is much different to any other large shopping centre.

Well im guessing all these shopping 'malls' are going to contain the same sort of shops, im just enquiring where would be the best for a day out, as im situated at Lincoln so getting to any of these will take the best part of the day. If i remember rightly Metro Centre was extremely competitively priced i.e no premium for being situated in a shopping centre. I appreciate everybodys help and advice, and i believe i have repped everybody - if not let me know

Thanks!

The thing that i like about the Trafford centre is it's all under one roof with lots of parking The bull ring is ok but parking is very bad!!!! Size for Size i would say the are about the same ish? the Bull ring is more streched out

Westfield is the largest inner-city or urban centre but the biggest two in the UK overall are Gateshead and Bluewater.

i went about a month ago..it was huuuuge but was a bit of a drive for me so my kids (5 and 2) were shattered and were not really behaving....so the centre is good and all but i didnt enjoy it due to kiddies...anyways dont think u go via CC zone and if ur going weekends...

defo got every store on a large scale there...food court isnt ur usual cack..which isnt cool when u got kids! haha

bluewater is more 'my local' and i love it!
