Which are the Best Mobile Phones Out Currently?

Hi all,

Im due for an upgrade soon, but have no knowledge of mobile phones.

I have been offered any handset available on T-Mobile so I have a huge chouice.

What Mobiles do people think are the best on the market right now? I am confused as each manufacturer has several models out.

Im more of a camera and video camera person than a walkman person(as I have an ipod)

Your opinions are much appreciated :)

would say iphone but t-mob dont have it.

all nseries phones are rubbish so wouldnt exactly get that.

try finding a phone with a high resale price so you can sell it and then choose the mobile you want.

So do you think, but the W850i, then sell it for say £250

then buy the iphone

I have had a look for the W960i, as it looks nice, but nowhere seems to sell it

Shame... I'm using the W950i at the moment, and its a great little phone. Even runs the touch-screen version of TomTom 6, which is great :)

Would be nice if it had the camera and Wifi like the W960i though ;)

If you can't find it though, I'd deffo go for the N95.

Another phone I've heard good things about is the LG Viewty, but I haven't done much research there myself.
Stay clear of the iPhone - it's over-hyped, over-expensive and over-buggy.

i had the n95 but got the xda steller for xmas and the steller is 100x better than the n95 i didnt really like my n95 to be honest

N95 8GB is the way to go mate, fantastic screen, fantastic 5mpx cam, fantastic operating system and wifi and gps built in.

improved battery life also

Nokia N95 is the best at the moment, poor battery life though, only 4 hours talktime even less if you use 3G, 2.5 hours, most networks do it free on contract, Orange offer deals at the end of the month if they haven't reached their sales targets (shops only I think) in that month they offer £100-£150 cashback for your old phone (Must sign to 18 month contract) doesn't matter what phone it is so long as it turns on and the screen isn't cracked even an OLD NOKIA 3310. and in the last couple of months running they have given away IPOD Nano's to everyone or DS Lite's, if you like the phone you have at the moment just keep the phone you have now and get it unlocked and go for a sim only contract so you get for example, 400 mins with O2 every month for £20 per month, and you can cancel it at any time, (thats what I did before Christmas I just stayed with my old Samsung D500), until the iphone comes down in price.

Thanks for everyones replies.

I really dont know what to do so ive decided to hold off upgrading for a month or so.

The only one I liked was the Samsung gG600, but it was best of a bad bunch.

I left Nokia time ago allured by Motorola and Sony Ericcson and I still regret it, I want a N81 or N95 8G but Tmobile doesn't have them and they have no plan to have them soon, I asked them today to cancel my contract and I will transfer my number to some company who have better choice of phones or get a Sim only contract, does anyone know if I can keep my number with a Sim only contract???

Sorry to impede, but I'm practiacally on the same boat.
I'm with Three and I can pick any of the phones on their site.

I mainly want a phone with a good battery life, after a year with the N80 and charging it every bloody day has taken its toll.
The phone needs to have a fast interface, again unlike the N80. And I'm not too fussed on wifi anymore as I never really use it much now. And if possible a 3.5mm output jack.

I think I've whittled it down to the SE K850i, W910i , maybe the Nokia N95 or something simpler like the Nokia 6120.
